Eleventh Chinese culture talent competition takes place in Nepal
Close to 300 students took part in the event, presenting a lively series of performances that included 10 Chinese songs and 10 traditional and modern Chinese dances. Their efforts were met with enthusiastic applause and cheers from the audience.
“Every word you speak, every character you write, or every cultural element that you're going to perform here today is a step toward building bridges between our two nations,” said Badal Pradhan, principal of the Learning Realm International School.
Addressing the crowd of primary and secondary school students, Pradhan encouraged them to remain curious and engaged. “May this event inspire you all to continue exploring the history of the Chinese language and culture,” he said.
The competition was jointly organized by the Chinese embassy in Nepal and the Volunteers' Home for International Chinese Language Education in Nepal.
